Korey D. Davis was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Grambling State University and was a member of the “World Famed Tiger Marching Band”. He continued his graduate studies at California State University San Bernardino and earned a Master’s degree in Education.

As a resident of Southern California, “Mr. D” as he is known to his students, has spent the last twelve years teaching Special Education in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. He has also performed stand-up comedy with some of the most respected comedians in the industry.

Korey is the CEO/Owner of Black Top Publishing. He is a member of Silver Dogs Inc., Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. He now resides in Dallas, Texas and spends his free time playing golf, listening to music, and traveling.
